Constructed of gilded silver with multi-coloured enamels, consisting of a Cross Pattée with white enameled arms, the obverse with a central white enameled disc bearing a hand-painted Hohenzollern imperial eagle, within a gilt ring, the reverse with a central white enameled disc bearing a gilt monogram of King Friedrich Wilhelm II, within a gilt ring, the twelve o’clock arm with an integral loop and suspension ring connecting to a period original ribbon, with a bow held together by a gilt ring, unmarked, measuring 38.90 mm (w) x 42.88 mm (h), weighing 17.5 grams (inclusive of ribbon), moderate loss of gilt is evident to the frame, with some flecking of enamels, in overall better than very fine condition.
