An extremely well preserved and finely detailed example of a third reich period Commemropative Mine Rescue Medal; constructed of feinsilver - marked as such on the reverse of the medal; horizontal pinback; maker marked “Preussische Staatsmünze” on the reverse; measuring 47.06 mm in diameter; weighing 26.4 grams. Accompanied by its presentation box of issue; constructed of cardstock, with a pistachio-green faux leather (leatherette) exterior; measuring 53 mm (w) x 52 mm (h); in overall mint condition.
