The Red Eagle Order 4th Class certificate is named to Bau-Inspektor außer Dienst (retired construction inspector) Conrad Schmitz in Koblenz (western Germany). Dated to Berlin on 18 January 1866. Measuring 220 mm (w) x 363 mm (h), presenting two folding creases, light overall creasing, and a minor rip in the middle, remains near very fine.
