A well-preserved edition of E.H. O’Toole’s “Decorations and Medals of the Republic of Ireland”. The book consists of a glossed card stock binding, with the cover depicting a multi-coloured illustration of a prototype of the 1916 Medal, circumscribed by the book’s author and title with an Irish tricolour flag motif. The exterior reverse bears black ink publishing information. The book’s content consists of 42 white paper stock pages with black ink text, supplemented by black-and-white facsimile depictions of applicable Irish decorations and medals, along with full-colour illustrations of ribbons. It was published in 1972 by B.A. Seaby Ltd. of London. Pages 5 through 7 have separated from the spine, and minor material fatigue is evident to the remainder of the book. It is in an overall better than very fine condition.
