Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse bearing a central HJ-style German national eagle clutching a HJ insignia, within a ribbed ring bearing a raised inscription of “BLUT UND EHRE” (“BLOOD AND HONOUR”), the reverse with a loop and dual attachment prongs, maker marked with the logo of F.W. Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid, with an additional Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo, measuring 62 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in better than very fine condition; accompanied by a German Alpine Club (DAV) membership badge, constructed of gilded and silvered bronze, horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 40 mm (w) x 38 mm (h), in very fine condition.
