Germany, Weimar Republic. A Luftstreitkräfte Veteran’s Badge by Deschler & Sohn

Constructed of silvered bronze, vertical pinback, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel wreathed, joined together at the bottom by blue-painted ribbon, topped by a Cross Pattée, with a central biplane flying over a rural landscape, above an inscription of “EHEM. ANGE. DER FLIEGER-TRIPPEN”, the reverse maker marked 24 mm (w) x 35 mm (h), minor oxidation and loss of paint evident, in overall near extremely fine condition.
