A rectangular paper certificate in a black frame, the top bears a watercolor painting signed “HANS FRIEDMANN MUNCHEN”, the picture depicts two centrally located Heer soldiers in uniform with a flag behind them with an iron cross in the left corner and a central swastika on a white background bordered with black, the flag is divided into quadrants by a black stripe with white borders, below is a battlefield scene with soldiers and weaponry and clouds of ash and smoke rising up to the two soldiers with the flag, below is a written certificate that commemorates the service of Unteroffizier Hugo Haller (b. 26.3.1914) of the 9. Battery Artillery Regiment 5 for his service in Ulm from 13.10.1936 to 28.10.1938, dated and signed at Ulm, measuring 351 mm (w) x 470 mm (h), very fine.
