Germany, Weimar Republic. A Military School Marksmanship Award Certificate

A rectangular paper certificate in a black frame, the certificate displays a black border with green oak leaves and acorns with gilt detailing, each corner and the bottom centre bears a frame that displays different military items and activities (a cannon, a soldier carrying a rifle, a soldier on horseback, a helmet, and a soldier with a shovel), the top centre of the border is superimposed with an eagle with outstretched wings, the document reads “Besitz-Zeugnis Dem Unterfeldwebel Wilhelm Albers der (. komp. 16. Infanterie-Regiments wird hiermit das Zeugnis erteilt, dab er fich im Schiebjahr 1930 das zweifache Schützenabzeichen der Sch. Sch. Schiebklasse erworben hat Oldenburg, den 1.10. 1930” bearing the signature of the Hauptmann und Komp.-Chef., measuring 449 mm (w) x 363 mm (h), very fine.
