Germany, Wehrmacht. A Supply Troops Proficiency Clasp Prototype, by Willy Kürschner

(Flieger Nachschub-Leistungs-Spange Prototyp). Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse consisting of a central wheel overlaid by a mobile swastika and wings joined together by dual acorns and oak leaves, unmarked, measuring 88 mm (w) x 50.5 mm (h), accompanied by a period original facsimile of a sketch of the prototype, topped by an inscription of “FLG. NACHSCHUB-LEISTUNGS-SPANGE”, maker marked “WILLY KÜRSCHNER, ENTWURF + AUSFÜHRUNG”, measuring 295 mm (w) x 205 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
