A fine quality manufacture 1941 Nationalsozialistisches Fliegerkorps (NSFK) Reichs-Competition of HJ Aviators Plaque; in silver frosted bronze; circular shape; the obverse illustrates an embossed winged man (Icarus) in flight, a swastika superimposed on the foreground, and a semicircular banner above with the recessed letters “NSFK”; surrounded by an oak wreath; marked “Deschler u. Sohn” by Icarus’ feet; the reverse depicts a leftward facing head of Hermann Goering in high relief, with “Plakette des Korpsführers des NS-Fliegerkorps” and “Reichs-Wettkampf der Flieger - Hitler-Jugend - 1941”; attractive patina’ extremely fine condition.
