(Sachsen-Ernestinischer Hausorden). Instituted on 25 December 1833. (II Model, issued 1864-1935). An eight-rayed silvered bronze star, the vertical and horizontal arms are gilded while the diagonal arms are silvered, with a white enameled eight-pointed, four armed Maltese cross, bordered with wide, golden edges and tipped with golden finials, gilded swords cross mounted at 12 o'clock arm, at the center shows a green enameled Gold crown, bordered by the a blue-enameled ring bearing the inscription, in golden capital letters, “FIDELITER ET CONSTANTER” (“FAITHFUL AND STEADY”), the reverse plain, measures 18.44 mm (w) x 20.95 mm (h), weighs 3.6 grams, with minor enamel loss, fine.
