(Friedrichs-Orden Ritterkreuz I. Klasse). Instituted on 1 January 1830. (Issued 1856-1918). A Gold cross pattée with white enameled arms, with sun-rays emanating between the arms of the cross, the obverse centre presents the royal cipher of Friedrich I within a bed of white enamel, circled by a blue enamled border, the reverse identical to the obverse, measures 19.32 mm (w) x 21.53 mm (h), weighs 3.2 grams, a large miniature, extremely fine.
