Hungary, Kingdom. An Embroidered Pilot’s Breast Eagle, c. 1940

An eagle in silver and gold-coloured bullion wire, sequins and red threads on black felt, surmounted by a Hungarian crown in bullion, red and green thread details, reverse of the badge is partially reinforced on wing tips otherwise thread is visible, measures 97mm (w) x 47.3mm(h), weighs 3.6 grams, all threads intact, in extremely fine condition.
