(Luftwaffe Schützenschnur). A Luftwaffe Marksmanship Lanyard, Grade One, consisting of a silvered zink insignia, the obverse in the form of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a Luftwaffe eagle in mid-flight and clutching a mobile swastika, affixed with all four original reverse attachment prongs to a lanyard constructed of braided dark grey threading interwoven with silver aluminum wire chevrons, with each end completing in a loop for uniform attachment, unmarked, the insignia measuring 42 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), the lanyard measuring 455 mm in length, in extremely fine condition.
