In bronze, measuring 36mm, worn on original ribbon with MINE LAYING navy clasp and pin on reverse, light wear, ribbon faded, light discoloration across obverse of medal, otherwise in extremely fine condition.
Footnote: The World War I Victory Medal was established by Army and Navy General Orders in 1919, as a war service medal. The Bronze Medal was awarded to all branches of the Armed Forces in recognition of active duty during the First World War between April 6, 1917, and November 11, 1918. The award of a Naval service clasp was limited to one per recipient.
