Prussia, Kingdom. A Military Long Service Decoration, III Class, Type II, (Militar Dienstauszeichnungen) Instituted 18 June 1825. 1913-1920 Issue. A circular medal constructed of argentine, the obverse bears a central Prussian crown circumscribed with “Treue Dienste bei der Fahne” (Loyalty Services at the flag), the reverse bears “IX” (9), on loop for suspension with blue ribbon, measuring 31.34 mm (w) x 36.20 mm (h); Prussia, Kingdom. A Reserve Long Service Decoration, II Class, (Landwehr Dienstauszeichnungen) Instituted 16 January 1842. 1913- 1920 Issue. A circular medal constructed of copper, the obverse bears a central Prussian crown circumscribed with “Treue Dienste Reserve Landwehr”, the reverse bears the inscription “Landwehr-Dienstaus-zeichnung II Klasse” (Landwehr Service award II Class), on loop for suspension with blue ribbon, measuring 25.04 mm (w) x 29.48 mm (h), both very fine.
