Germany, Imperial. A Pilot’s Badge in Silver, Prinzen Size

An ovular shaped badge pendant constructed of silver, the obverse centre bears a flying plane over a rural landscape, encompassed by a wreath of half oak leaves and half laurel tied with a ribbon at the bottom, topped with an imperial crown, the reverse is plain and is marked “800” (indicative of silver quality), and marked “MIR”, measuring 32 mm (w) x 54.23 mm (h), weighing 11.8 g, very fine.
