Born 3 May 1923 in Winnenden, Germany, Holzwarth served with Kavallerie-Regiment 16 of the 8th SS Volunteer Cavalry Division Florian Geyer. His last known whereabouts were in Budapest on 11 December 1944. The request for information was filed by his father, Wilhelm Holzwarth. It features a black-and-white photograph of Holzwarth in a Rottenführer’s uniform. Measuring 210 mm (w) x 145 mm (h), it is in an overall extremely fine condition.
