(HIAG Suchdienst Papier). A HIAG (Mutual Aid Association of Former Waffen-SS Members) Tracing Service file for SS-Kanonier Jakob Bürgler. Born 13 September 1927 in Neu Palanka, Yugoslavia (now Bačka Palanka, Serbia), Bürger served with SS-Artillerie-Regiment 22 of the 22nd SS Volunteer Cavalry Division Maria Theresia. His last known whereabouts were in Budapest in December 1944, during the Red Army siege. The request for information was filed by Bürger family members. It features a black-and-white photograph of Bürger in what appears to be a Waffen-SS tropical uniform. Measuring 210 mm (w) x 145 mm (h), it is in an overall extremely fine condition.
