In silver, number impressed "715" on the reverse, 35.7 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), vertical pinback flanked by dual prongs, original ribbon, mounted to a five-sided aluminum suspension with pinback, its chain draped in a v-shape over the suspension, light contact, near extremely fine.
Footnote: The Ushakov Medal was established by a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on March 3, 1944 and named after Russian Admiral Fedor Fedorovich Uskakov. The medal was awarded to soldiers and sailors, petty officers and non-commissioned officers, chief petty officers and warrant officers of the Navy and Naval Border Guards during the Great Patriotic War. The medal was awarded over 15,000 times before 1991.
