Type II. (1905-1937 Issue) An outstanding example in gold with red, white and blue enamels, weighing 15.6 grams, unmarked, type II with the lion on top of the crown, 41.5 mm (w) x 68 mm (h) inclusive of its crown suspension, original ribbon, chipping evident in the enamels on two beads on the reverse of the crown, near extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, maker marked "J. TOSTRUP OSLO" on the inside lid, recessed medal bed, scuffing and wear on the exterior, wear in the fabric overlying the hinged area on the interior, case fine.
