A rare and desirable matching set of Golden Party Badges in both large and small versions, the former constructed of gilded tombak with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, with a central black enameled mobile swastika on a white enameled disc, within a red enameled disc bearing an inscription of “NATIONAL-SOZIALISTISCHE D.A.P.” (“NATIONAL SOCIALIST GERMAN WORKERS’ PARTY”), the reverse with a horizontal pinback, stamped with a NSDAP membership number of “96790” for an unidentified individual, maker marked “DESCHLER & SOHN, MÜNCHEN”, measuring 30.48 mm in diameter, weighing 13.4 grams, with minor flecking of enamels evident, in overall extremely fine condition; the latter similarly constructed of gilded tombak with multi-coloured enamels, with an identical obverse composition, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, also stamped with a NSDAP membership number of “96790”, maker marked “JOS. FUESS, MÜNCHEN”, measuring 24.14 mm in diameter, weighing 7.6 grams, in near mint condition.
