A purple heart composed of bronze gilt, with purple, red, white and green enamels, rim numbered 432640 on right side near 6 o’clock, measures 34.50mm (w) x 47mm (h), weighs 33.8 grams, worn on original ribbon with slot style brooch, notable edge bruising, light contact, overall very fine condition.

Contained in its original box of issue of hard blue cardboard, interior presents an additional piece of green fabric glued to the base and lid, mark on edge missing section however E.H Simon Inc is visible, measures 59.2mm (w) x 113.9mm (l) x 15.5mm (d), light scuffing and wear around edges, overall near very fine condition.
