These sashes were worn about the waist, each of which has an upper fabricated from a fine silvered bullion wire, with pairs of red and black embroidered stripes on either side, the colours of the Kingdom of Wurttemberg. Both sashes with a large knot (acorn) at either end, similar to a sword's portapee, only much larger. Each knot with a chocolate brown fabric wrapped satchel in the centre, within an aluminum frame, the frame itself wrapped in a fine silvered bullion wire in an intricate laced pattern, forming a netting over the knot. All four knots have a large tassel suspended from them, the 230 mm long core fringe in alternating strands of braided red and black embroidery, the exterior fringe in 250 mm long strands of braided silvered bullion wire. One sash has two length adjustment brackets in place for joining around the wearer's waist, along with a white cotton underside, measuring 42 mm in width x 1,600 mm in length, both its knots measuring 72 mm in width x 45.5 mm in depth x 85.5 mm in height each. The other sash comes without brackets and has no cotton underside, measuring 60 mm in width x 1,790 mm in length, its two knots measuring 66 mm in width x 45.5 mm in depth x 85.5 mm in height each. Extremely fine.
