(Hausorden vom Weißen Falken Ritterkreuz I. Klasse mit Schwertern). Instituted 2 August 1732 by Duke Ernst August I. (1815-1818 issue). Constructed of Gold with multi-coloured enamels, consisting of a Maltese Cross, the obverse with green enameled arms, the arms joined at the quadrants by red enameled rhombuses, bearing a central white enameled Saxe Weimar-style eagle, the reverse with white enameled arms, the arms joined at the quadrants by green enameled rhombuses, overlaid by a central blue enameled oval medallion bearing an inscription of “VIGILANDO ASCENDIMUS” (“THROUGH VIGILANCE WE ASCEND”), the twelve o’clock arm with a hollow crown suspension completing in a loop, the latter bearing a Gold assay mark, measuring 7.54 mm (w) x 12.90 mm (h), weighing 0.7 grams, in extremely fine condition.
