A commemorative mine rescue badge, constructed of feinsilver, the obverse presents a Maltese cross bearing crossed hammers, with a Prussian eagle holding a sword and lightning bolts, bearing a swastika across its chest, surrounded by the inscription FÜR VERDIENST UM DAS GRUBEN-RETTUNGS-WESEN (FOR MERIT FOR THE MINE RESCUE), the reverse presents a horizontal pinback, the reverse is engraved PREUSS STAATS MUENZE (PRUSSIA STATE COIN), FEINSILBER, measuring 45.03 mm in diameter, weighing 25.9 grams, and in extremely fine condition.
