In pickled copper, voided, measuring 37.5 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), both lugs intact, solder residue evident on the tip of the upper leaf on the reverse, very light contact, near extremely fine.

 

Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Saskatchewan and Manitoba under the authority of G.O. 103A, August 15, 1915. The mobilization headquarters was at Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The Battalion sailed June 18, 1916 with a strength of 33 officers and 1,040 other ranks under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel N. Lang. In England, the Battalion was absorbed into the 44th, 48th, 54th and 72nd Battalions. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920.
