(Mützenabzeichen). A lot of four cap insignia, including a Heer EM/NCO’s cap wreath and cockade, constructed of aluminum, the reverse retaining three of four attachment prongs, marked “2”, measuring 62 mm (w) x 42 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition; a Gebirgsjäger cap insignia, constructed of silvered bronze, unmarked, measuring 55 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), in very fine condition; an Ordnungspolizei cap eagle, constructed of aluminum, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with one of two attachment prongs intact, the reverse with an unidentified maker’s mark, measuring 55 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), in very fine condition, and; a 1st Fallschirm-Panzer Division “Hermann Göring” EM/NCO’s cap eagle, constructed of a black wool backer, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver-grey Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 75 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
