A large NSDAP banner flag, constructed of heavy red cotton twill, each side overlaid in the centre by a separate white cotton disc measuring 72 cm in diameter, each in turn overlaid by a black dyed mobile swastika, the hoist edge is reinforced and bears a drawstring at each corner, the left hoist corner notably features a handwritten veteran’s inscription of “L.J. FROST, GERMANY, SEPT. 16 1945”, otherwise unmarked, measuring 146 mm (w) x 340 mm (l), with age-appropriate material fatigue and slight soiling evident, a unique veteran-acquired flag in near extremely fine condition..
