An Ink Stamp of the Seal of the Kriegsmarine Field Postal Office in Denmark

This is an ink stamp constructed of a wooden handle and with a metal (magnetic) stamp of the negative of the Kriegsmarine Field Post Office in Frederikshavn (Denmark). The stamp reads “Kriegsmarine Marinenachrichtenmittelbetrieb Frederikshavn” with a national eagle perched atop an oak wreath containing a mobile swastika (Hakenkreuz). The stamp is attached to a well-aged replacement wooden handle, measuring approximately 102 mm x 34 mm, with patina on the handle from use, in overall very fine condition.
