Germany, Imperial. A Naval Wound Badge, Silver Grade, with Stick Pin Miniature

(Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber mit Anstecknadel). Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval chain link wreath, with a central raised anchor, overlaid by crossed swords, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 38.62 mm (w) x 44.04 mm (h), weighing 8.8 grams, accompanied by a stick pin miniature, constructed of silvered bronze, of identical appearance, unmarked, measuring 19.29 mm (w) x 22.14 mm (h), weighing 1.7 gram, some loss of finish is evident to the badge, in overall very fine condition.
