1939-1945 Star; France and Germany Star; Defence Medal; Canadian Volunteer Service Medal; and War Medal 1939-1945. Mounted to a suspension with swing bar pinback, plated, very light contact, replacement ribbons, near extremely fine. The medals are displayed below a 70 mm (w) x 100 mm (h) black and white studio photograph of the veteran in his RCAF uniform, wearing the Bomb Aimer (Bombardier) "B" wing on his left breast and a Canada flash on his left shoulder. The photo is flanked on the left side by three vertically-placed lapel badges (British Empire Service League Canadian Legion, Canadian Corps, Royal Canadian Air Force Reserve) and flanked on the right side by three vertically-placed lapel badges (Medical Crowned Caduceus, Royal Canadian Air Force, General Service). All items are mounted to a black felt background with a plywood support, within an uniquely-crafted polished wooden frame under glass, in the shadow box style, very solid construction and secured via multiple screws, along with a wire placed on the reverse for wall hanging, measuring 260 mm (w) x 310 mm (h) x 42 mm (d), with a few contact marks on the frame and some faint residue on the underside of the glass.
