Insignia in blue, white, red and yellow enamels, mounted to an eight-pointed star base, the red star at 12 o'clock identifying it as a VI Class, number impressed "981" on the reverse, measuring 56.7 mm (w) x 58.3 mm (h), scattered chipping evident in the enamels throughout, large rosette on its original 4th Grade ribbon, accompanied by its 36.5 mm (w) x 10.7 mm ribbon bar with pinback, fine. In its wooden box of issue with sliding lid and red cloth medal bed, chipped on one side near the opening, box very fine.
