What's a max bid?

Colonial Long Service Group of Three, Captain Ashton A. Winter, 39th Regiment, Norfolk Rifles - British War Medal (CAPT. A.A. WINTER.); Colonial Auxiliary Forces Officers' Decoration, George V (LT. COL A.A. WINTER Nor. Rif.); and Colonial Auxiliary Forces Long Service Medal, George V (CAPTAIN. A.A. WINTER, 39th REGIMENT.). Naming is officially impressed on the two medals and officially engraved on the reverse of the CAFOD. Un-mounted, the CAFOD with oak leaf and acorn pinback hanger, in its hardshelled case of issue, silver gilt is worn, dark patinas on the two medals, original ribbons, better than fine.   Footnote: Ashton Arnold Winter was born on May 28, 1881 in the Township of Charlottesville, Norfolk County, Ontario. He signed his CEF Attestation Paper on May 6, 1915 in Hamilton, Ontario, naming his next-of-kin as Jella May Winter, stating that he had previous military service with the 39th Regiment, Norfolk Rifles, that he was married and that his trade was that of Barrister & Solicitor. He was awarded his Colonial Auxiliary Forces Long Service Medal in 1907 by Government Order No. 107 and awarded his Colonial Auxiliary Forces Officers' Decoration in 1925 by Government Order No. 117, both while he was with the 39th Regiment, Norfolk Rifles.
