In bronze gilt, manufactured by Braća Knaus of Zagreb, measuring 30 mm in diameter, scattered gilt wear and residue evident on both sides, partial triangular ribbon with hook remains attached to the ribbon, near very fine.
Footnote: The medal was instituted on November 30, 1943, established in celebration of the twenty-five anniversary of Croatian Independence from Austrian-Hungarian rule. It was conferred upon members of the Croatian Homeland Defence and civilians who demonstrated against, and clashed with, the Armed Serbian Police in Zagreb on December 5, 1918.
