(Odznak Československého Partyzána). Instituted in 1946. Badge in silvered bronze, obverse illustrating a five-pointed star, with a standing dynamic figure of a Czechoslovak partisan moving to the right and holding a Soviet-made Shpagin PPSh-41 machine pistol (Pistolet-Pulemyot Shpagina) across his body, inscribed "ČS / PARTYZAN" (Czechoslovak Partisan) at the upper left, backed by a wreath composed of oak leaves and laurel leaves, reverse number impressed "233", measuring 49.5 mm (w) x 47.2 mm (h), screwback; and Stickpin in silvered bronze, obverse with the same design as the badge, reverse maker marked "MINCOVNA KREMNICA", measuring 23.5 mm (w) x 22.3 mm (h), on a 52.5 mm long stickpin. Very light contact, near extremely fine.
Footnote: The Czechoslovak Partisan Badge was instituted on August 9, 1946, to be awarded to Czechoslovak armed partisans who had fought against the occupying German forces during the Second World War and were officially enrolled in a Resistance organization. Its attribution was strictly controlled. The insignia were made that same year by the Kremnica Mint (Mincovňa Kremnica).
