Czechoslovakia, Socialist Republic. A Post Second War Set of Three Air Force Commemorative Badges

All three badges in porcelain with enamelled colour insignias, each placed within an ornate oval silver frame bearing laurel leaves, commemorating the Czech Air Force, the British Royal Air Force and the Soviet Air Forces (Voyenno-Vozdushnye Sily), the latter two of which the Czech Air Force flew with during the Second World War. First Badge inscribed "CSR" above the Pilot's Badge and backed by the tri-colours of Czechoslovakia, measuring 51.3 mm (w) x 62.5 mm (h); Second Badge bearing the Royal Air Force wings and inscribed "CZECHOSLOVAKIA" on a ribbon banner above the Pilot's Badge, measuring 52 mm (w) x 63.5 mm (h); Third Badge bearing the Soviet Air Forces (Voyenno-Vozdushnye Sily) wings and inscribed in Russian "ЧЕХОСЛОВАКИЯ" (Czechoslovakia), measuring 52 mm (w) x 63.7 mm (h). Intact enamels, very light contact and surface wear, near extremely fine. In their hardshelled case of issue, scarlet red paper covering on five sides, the bottom with a black paper covering, the lid illustrating an aircraft at the upper left along with being inscribed "NARODNI LETECKA SBIRKA" and dated "1946" in gold-coloured ink, greenish-white nylon lined and padded inside lid with a tri-colour ribbon angled across the upper left corner, royal blue felt medal bed with three oval recessed areas for the badges, push release, dual-hinged, measuring 145 mm (w) x 163 mm (h) x 23.5 mm (d), scuffing evident on the scarlet red paper exterior, slight age discolouration in the royal blue felt on the medal bed, case fine.
