Czechoslovakia, Socialist Republic. An Army-Issued Czechoslovak Orders and Decorations
Consisting of twenty pieces: Booklet, eighteen Panels and Folder, each of which is entitled "Ceskoslovenské Rády A Vyznamenání". The illustrations are credited to Milan Mišek, the illustrations and text credited to Dr. Vladimir Macháček and Pplv. Václav Amort. Published in Prague in 1964 and issued by "Our Army" (Naše Vojsko). The Booklet consists of multiple illustrations of the Orders and Medals of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic that could be awarded to members of the Army, in black under their respective headings in red, containing 24 pages plus cover, the pages printed in black and red inks, on a thick off-white paper stock, the cover printed in cyan and black inks on an off-white card stock, dual-staple bound, measuring 415 mm (w) x 295 mm (h). Accompanying the Booklet are eighteen individual Panels, illustrating fifty-eight Orders and Medals along with two Ribbon Bars, the front of each panel illustrating the obverse of the awards, each of the images in black and colourized, printed in four-colour inks, while the reverse of each award is illustrated on the back of each panel and printed in black ink, on a thick off-white paper stock, measuring 418 mm (w) x 295 mm (h) each. The Folder housing the Booklet and Panels has flaps placed along the top and bottom edges on the right side, in order to house the Booklet and Panels, the front and back covers printed in four-colour inks, coded "02/33 - Brož. 40, -- Kčs" on the back cover, the inside plain, on a very thick off-white card stock, measuring 427 mm (w) x 303 mm (h). The Folder exhibits wear along the edges and spine, along with a large tear towards the bottom on the spine, while the Booklet and Panels are free of wear, creasing and tears. Very fine.
