A silver handled horse hair brush with silver detailing on reverse, bristled into enameled base, stamped with mark for silver, with date mark for 1936, made under the reign of Edward The 8th, with the city mark of Birmingham, and Maker’s Mark for Charles S. Green & co, measures at 7.5 cm (w) x 27.5cm (l) x 3.5cm (h) and weighs 162.3 grams, dark patina, bristles slightly frayed, remains in very fine condition.

A hand held silver horsehair brush with silver detailing, bristled into enamel base, stamped with mark for silver, date mark for 1939 under the reign of George VI, with the city mark for Birmingham and Maker’s Mark for Charles S. Green & co, measures 4.5cm (w) x 16.5cm (l) x 3cm (h), weighs74.2 grams, bristles slightly frayed, lovely patina, in very fine condition.
