Estonia, Republic. A Lot of Medals of the Estonian Independence War
(Eesti Vabdussoeja maelestusmaerk). A lot of three (two for regular participants of the war and one for wounded in battle) Medals of the Estonian Independence War, each constructed of dark bronze, the obverse presenting a soldier with a helmet and rifle guarding a traditional home, with a tree and house in the background, the right side presents the inscription KODU KAITSEKS (FOR DEFENCE OF THE HOME), the reverse presents crossed swords over a background of oak leaves, inscribed with the dates 1918-1920, with a decorative ribbon with the inscription EESTI VABADUSSOJA MAELESTUSEKS (IN THE COMMEMORATION OF THE ESTONIAN WAR OF INDEPENDENCE), each measuring approximately 28.04 mm in diameter, all on loops for suspension from period original ribbons, and in very fine conditions.
