Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

Your entered maximum bid will not be disclosed to the seller or other auction participants at any point.

Max bidding example:

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

1916 Kaiser Wilhelm Photo Album

Seechiffahrts Aktiengesellschaft" (Commemorative of the Cruise on the Danube between Bazias and Orsova, on January 20, 1916, aboard the Paddle Steamer "Zsofia Hercegno", Royal Hungarian Nautical Corporation), with a two-piece silver and enamelled insignia illustrating the Hungarian crown surmounting an anchor with crossed oak leaves below, affixed in the centre, featuring twenty-four black and white photographs, some of which have faded to a sepia-toned look, each photograph in a stiff card matted frame. Phoots are showing a number of high ranking German Officers/leaders (including Kaiser Wilhelm) and also Austrian-Hungarian Officers (including Emperor Karl), aboard the Zsofia Hercegno (Austro-OHungarian Danube Flotilla Army Hospital Ship); nice photos of German and Autro-Hungarian leadership, along with views of the scenery taken along the Danube. The cover in a beige linen stock, complemented by a leather spine and leather triangular corners on the front and back, 133 mm x 160 mm x 30 mm. one small nip in the leather where it butts the linen on the front cover, near mint. Accompanied by nine loose photographs of same, in its cardboard box of issue. Very rare, intimate album, no doubt produced in a very small number and given to the Officers aboard the ship.
