Austria-Hungary, Imperial. A Grouping of Patriotic Austro-Hungarian Cap Badges
(Kappenabzeichen). A grouping of four cap badges, including a cap badge constructed of bronzed metal in the shape of a square with a rounded upper edge, bordered on either side of branches of laurel up the left and oak along the right, the centre presents the bust of Franz Joseph facing right, in uniform, with the text FRANC IOS I, maker mark on obverse for R. MARSCHALL 1915, reverse presents a horizontal pinback, measuring 39.45 mm (w) x 32.39 mm (h), and in near very fine condition. A vertical rectangular badge in copped, presenting the image of Franz Joseph, on a vertical pin, measuring 23.99 mm (w) x 44.76 mm (h), and in near very fine condition. A Blkanstreitkräfte 1914-1915 cap badge, constructed in a shield shape with a dull grey finish, the obverse presents an embossed portrait of Franz Joseph above the engraved inscription VIRIBUS UNITIS, the badge is bordered with the inscription reading K.u.K. balkanstreitkrÄfte 1914/1915, the reverse presents a diagonal pin, maker marked GURSCHNER WIEN, measuring 25.82 mm (w) x 35.77 mm (h), and in very fine condition. A Ottoman Habsburg Crown Prince badge, the obverse presents the right-facing portrait of Otto, with the inscription Trónörökös (Crown Prince) 1916 below, reverse presents a horizontal pinback, measuring 42.07 mm (w) x 42.27 mm (h), and in very fine condition.
