What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Constructed of gilded and silvered bronze, the obverse with a raised depiction of Vienna City Hall, topped by a castle, above an enameled Austro-Hungarian coat of arms, with white enameled banners bearing a gilt inscription of “WIENER BÜRGER-VEREINIGUNG” (“VIENNESE CITIZENS ASSOCIATION”), the reverse with a boutonniere-style pinback maker marked “REINEMER & SPIEGEL, WIEN”, measuring 38.45 mm (w) x 48.79 mm (h), accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of heavy card stock with a faux black leather exterior, the obverse lid with a gold embossed coat of arms and stylized border, the interior with a white satin lid liner and slotted red velvet medal bed, opening with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release and a functional magnetic metal hinge, unmarked, measuring 70 mm (w) x 90 mm (l) x 25 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
