An extremely well-preserved edition of “Air Aces of the Austro-Hungarian Empire 1914 -1918” by Dr. Martin O’Connor. The exterior presents a simple blue hardcover, the interior consists of 337 pages of detailed histories of air aces, colour graphics of various aircrafts, and numerous black and white photos that bring history to life. Six appendices are included that cover the following topics: an overview of the Austro-Hungarian Army Air Service; LFT Serial Number System; Aircraft of Aces; Aces’ Victories by Aircrew Role; Aces’ Victory Lists; Maps. It was published by Flying Mountain Press in 1994. Measuring 235mm (w) x 300 (h) x 45mm (d), this book is in excellent condition and would be a great addition to any collector’s shelf.
