Silver with red and white enamels, marked "A" on the bottom of the loop, 30.5 mm, crossed bronze swords on an original triangular ribbon, chipping evident in the red enamels on the left arm on the obverse and in the white enamels on both the right and left arms on the reverse, very fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, marked "MILITAER VERDIENSTKREUZ III. KLASSE / K. D.", maker marked "ROTHE & NEFFE WIEN" on the inside lid, recessed medal bed, wear and scuffing evident on the exterior, case also very fine.
