In its hardshelled case of issue, red thatched exterior, marked "Bronzene Militär Verdienst medaille" (Bronze Military Merit Medal) in faded gold-coloured ink on the lid, inside lid in white satin and marker marked "ZIMBLER. WIEN VII.", black felt recessed medal bed, push release, measuring 64.3 mm (w) x 110.5 mm (h) x 23.5 mm (d), case near extremely fine.
