Silver with red, white and green enamels, marked on the obverse of the integral ring with a Diana's head (Dianakopf) hallmark, which was used between 1872 and 1922, assay city mark "A" (Vienna) to the right of the head, marked with an "A" (Vienna) on the loop, 37 mm (w) x 48.7 mm (h) inclusive of its integral suspension, original triangular ribbon with hook and eye, intact enamels, extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, marked "Patriae ac Humanitati 1864-1914 K. D." on the lid, maker marked "G.A. SCHEID WIEN, BUDAPEST" on the inside lid, lightly soiled recessed medal bed, scuffing on the bottom, case near extremely fine.
