Two-piece construction, in bronze gilt with red, white and green enamels, unmarked, measuring 36.5 mm (w) x 49.2 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, intact enamels, spotting, original bow-tied ribbon with safety-pin attachment, near extremely fine.
Footnote: The Honour Decoration of the Red Cross was instituted on August 14, 1914. It was awarded in three grades: Merit Cross, I Class and II Class, along with Silver and Bronze medals, with a wreath for War Decoration available.
