What's a max bid?

Constructed of silver, the obverse with a raised rightward-facing profile of Franz Joseph I circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with an inscription of “SIGNUM LAUDIS” (“SIGN OF PRAISE”) inside of a laurel and oak wreath, with a richly-detailed crown suspension and loop connecting to a period original tri-fold ribbon with clasp, unmarked, measuring 32.08 mm (w) x 53.07 mm (h), weighing 20.0 grams, accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of card stock with a red leather exterior, the obverse lid with a silver embossed Imperial Austrian coat of arms, the interior with a white satin-type lid liner with a maker’s mark of “Láng Testvérek, Budapest”, with a depressed black doeskin medal bed, opening with a bronze spring catch with exterior stud release and a functional magnetic metal hinge, measuring 62 mm (w) x 106 mm (l) x 20 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
