(For 25 Years With Silver Eagle). Instituted 1849. A four-armed cross with pebbled arms in bronze gilt, the obverse centre is superposed by a silvered heraldic symbol of double-headed eagle, plain reverse is backed by unofficial mother of pearl for Officers, measuring 33.32 mm (w) x 37.96 mm (h - inclusive of integral ball), suspended by original triangular breast ribbon with hook and eye, presenting general oxidation across the arms, good condition.
Footnote: This cross was founded by Emperor Franz Joseph I to reward Officers, Non-Commissioned Officers, and enlisted men in the Austrian Army and Navy for long service.
